DS TECHEETAH looked strong through Round 10 and da Costa's effort may indicate the Sino-French outfit will be in and around the sharp end of the grid in Round 11, too. Similarly, despite a retirement for Evans in yesterday's E-Prix, the Jaguar proved handy - with Sam Bird recovering from a practice shunt and 20th on the grid to ninth and the TAG Heuer Fastest Lap.
Cassidy flew to pole position for Round 10 - his second in Formula E after his Rome Super Pole heroics. The Kiwi was sharp in race one in Brooklyn but energy management having led from the front proved tough, though he did still come home an encouraging fourth ahead of teammate and joint standings leader Robin Frijns.
The Dutchman himself wound up fourth in FP3 with Rene Rast (Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler) and Norman Nato (ROKiT Venturi Racing) completing the top six. Edoardo Mortara (ROKiT Venturi Racing) shares the standings lead with Frijns and managed the 10th fastest time of the morning's running.
