Best of social: 2019 New York City E-Prix

In the aftermath of the epic double-header season finale in the Big Apple, we take a look back at the very best of social from the weekend.

Once, twice, three times a Champion?

"I will definitely give it all next season, that's for sure - I want more," said DS Techeetah driver and two-time ABB FIA Formula E Champion Jean-Eric Vergne confidently. Now, with two titles to his name, the Frenchman is arguably the most successful Formula E driver in history but is the 29-year old capable of a hattrick? Time will tell.

Buemi bites back

For seasoned Formula E pro and Nissan e.dams driver Sebastien Buemi, a (very) late break for the Championship title started with a second place finish in Berlin, followed by third in Bern, his first win in two years in New York and another podium in the final round of the season. With four consecutive podiums, it's safe to say Sebastien Buemi - the most successful driver in the series history - is back and better than ever.

'Mind blowing' season showdown

With our newly crowned Champion claiming the first race in New York City had "more action than a Michael Bay movie," the double-header season showdown on the streets of Brooklyn certainly didn't disappoint. More of the same? See you next season.

Over and out: Our best season yet?

Well, what a season it's been. With "more action than a Michael Bay movie," some of the most unpredictable racing and results and a healthy dose of on-track carnage, the 2018/19 season of Formula E might just be the best yet. Still want more? No problem - we're just getting started.
