Lynn returns to Formula E with British squad Panasonic Jaguar Racing after completing a season with the Virgin Racing outfit. The British driver has shaped a career in motorsport racing both single seaters and sports cars.
Before entering Formula E ahead of the 2017/18 season, Lynn won the challenging Sebring 12 Hours in that same year, representing Wayne Taylor Racing. After a challenging season with virgin, which saw him finish 16th overall, Lynn was replaced by Dutchman Robin Frijins.
Halfway through the 2018/19 season, ahead of the Rome race, Jaguar announced Lynn would take the place of Nelson Piquet Jr, racing in car 3 for the remainder of the season. Alongside Formula E, Lynn is also a seasoned competitor in the World Endurance Championship, racing in some of the most well-known endurance races, such as Le Mans and the Nurburgring 24 Hours. A former GP3 champion, Alex raced in the GP2 series with French team DAMS and won three races. He was also Development Driver for Williams Martini Racing in Formula One.
